This reimagined landscape balances beauty, privacy, and play, transforming the residence into garden rooms that work for the whole family. Lush, layered plantings soften the edges of the property and create a sense of seclusion, while vibrant seasonal blooms bring color and energy throughout the year. In the narrower, deeply shaded spaces between the house and fence, shade-loving shrubs, textured foliage, and flowering accents turn once-overlooked corridors into intimate garden moments. A key shift in the design came when we guided the clients away from an ailing evergreen hedge and toward a more resilient, visually rich solution. The new planting approach combines a row of narrow beech trees for vertical structure and privacy, boxwoods for year-round form, and mixed seasonal perennials that deliver evolving color and texture. Beyond these planted edges, the landscape opens up to support active family life—where kids can run free and the garden remains as a lovely backdrop.
