The Kelley Oklesson Community Advocate Award

Recognizes a community partner individual or organization who has demonstrated advocacy, vision, leadership, and inclusiveness through participation in NDC efforts in Prince George’s County in the previous calendar year. This award is named after Kelley Oklesson, a designer, advocate, lifelong Prince George’s County resident, and NDC team member from 2009-2016.  She worked her way up from intern to Program Manager during her tenure at NDC, and continues to be a tireless advocate for social justice and design excellence. 2017 will be the inaugural year of this award.
