Small • In the Ground
This townhome project focused on elevating the site’s existing strengths while introducing new elements to enhance ecological performance, privacy, and cohesion. Our planting design transitioned the landscape to a fully native planting palette, with trees strategically positioned to create shade, privacy, and a stronger sense of enclosure. Material interventions—including an artfully stacked wood wall used as porch skirting and large boulders integrated into a dry creek bed—add texture, structure, and visual continuity throughout the space. Together, these thoughtful design moves unify the landscape and significantly improve the functionality and experience of the landscape.
